The movie "The Jerk" is his best, IMHO. Still remember how I couldn't get into it because it was rated R and had to wait years to be able to see it (those were the days before DVDs and instant downloads and Hulu--how did we ever survive?) The years he was on SNL were their best by far.

X2 - F&F - these electronic nipples (cell phones, facebook, twitter) are truly hypnotizing the populace (like you said). And it's all the most mundane, unimportant shite, that seems to make everyone feel so "cool" and "connected" - I'm no Luddite (I'm typing this, after all) - but these distractions are, well, distractions.
