Lee Terry

Politics Daily:

Affable six-term Congressman Lee Terry looked up from his pork chop and sauerkraut at a Catholic Church festival (St. Columbkille Parish) to explain why he is facing a formidable challenge in November. "The district has shifted and Tom White is a credible opponent," Terry said as we sat on picnic benches in a light Sunday afternoon drizzle. "On the face of it, it looks pretty good if you're the other side."

Let's go White! I'm from Lincoln, NE and worked on the hill last year. Every Wednesday the Nebraskan Congressman hold a "Nebraska Breakfast" in the CVC. I attended every Nebraska Breakfast for 4 months straight and didn't hear one new idea from Terry. He made fun of Sen. Nelson for being a dem ( even though he isn't) and recited the exact same thing every other repub. said on the news that week. He doesn't deserve his position and I pray White gets the upset win!

Overheard this past summer at the Capital Hill Club, a comment from Lee Terry to a young woman sitting next to him, "Why did you get me so drunk last night?" The comment even made it on Olbermann.

Nebraskans probably splurted out their coffee when they heard that! Lee freakin Terry? Oh...junior. They are STILL thinking of his dad - I bet that most think they are voting for the former local newsguy. That's how LITTLE impact this man has made. WHY NOT try something new, with Tom White?

Good riddance. Lee Terry is the worst of the Nebraska Caucus in congress, and that's saying something. He's pathetic. He once visited my employer about some new regulation for children's clothing half way through the appearance we started talking about the regulations and he said, "oh is that what I'm here for?" Totally inept.

Tell him not to worry. I heard Obama will be campaigning for his Democratic opponent. So the GOP is sure to win!

Your a clown now huh? Your so funny.

Despite your snark, I'll correct you politely. I believe that it is Vice President Biden who will be in town for Tom White. The president remains very popular with Nebraska Dems. We are surrounded by the alternative (conservative Republicans), so we KNOW what a good thing we've got with President Obama. Ben Nelson. on the other hand, can go pound sand.

Wasn't he Ferris Bueller's friend, the one with the Redwings jersey who trashed his dad's car? I always wondered what happened to that guy.

With the invisible list of accomplishments GOP candidates have at their disposal, I find it amusing Republicans in general are so smug about their chances in November. Besides, nobody likes a "No-It-All."

I live in Dan Lungrens district in CA and I will be working hard to kick his rear out of the house. He is a Republican mouth piece that voted for the bailout but has voted against any legislation that spends money on middle class Americans. He is a fraud and here in Nor Cal you can only get away with that for so long. Here in Ca things almost never change. The parts that have a D always do the parts that have a R always do. This year is different for Ca. In my District we may change a seat held by a Republican to a Dem seat. I am excited about this Nov and am doing my part to keep the house of Reps in Dem control.

Good luck to you. Looks like we may get a Dem Governor here in GA.....too. I doubt the Dem will win the Senate seat though unless we can get out the AA vote. I am working hard too.

I'm hoping and praying that Roy Barnes gets back in as governor. This is one AA that will be at the church at 7:00 a.m. to vote.

I've seen this dude on television and I wasn't impressed. I pay close attention to ALL CA elections as well as NY elections. Everyone in the USA should. CA is our imports capital and NY is our financial capital, which is an excellent reason to watch these two states. God bless the people of CA.
