Delonte West DENIES Sex With LeBron James' Mom

Did Delonte West have sex with LeBron James' mom? A rumor that the two had a torrid and illicit affair broke out during the offseason. While there was no proof that the secret sex ever happened, it did not stop a Basketball Hall of Famer from saying that the speculation was "absolutely true."

A lawyer for James strongly denied the rumor, but the whispers were fueled when James, who always appeared to enjoy his Cavaliers teammates, coldly ditched Cleveland in what many saw as a heartless and cruel nationally televised insult.

Finally, LeBron's former teammate has been asked directly about the gossip. According to the Boston Globe, a reporter asked West if he slept with Gloria James.

"Not at all," West replied. "I come from an era where you don't say nothing bad about someone's parent, so not at all." West, now with the Celtics, is looking forward to playing with his new team. "There's a lot of excitement here," he said.

There's good reason why ESPN.com, SI.com and CBSSports.com hasn't run with this story--it sounds too ridiculous and legitimate news sources can't back up this story. Given the enormous amount of contacts in the NBA the likes of ESPN has, if they can prove this story it would have been on the front of the ESPN.com web page months ago.

If Lebron's mom doesn't show up in Boston, DeLonte is guilty. Everybody already knows it's true...but this reminds me of when Shaquille was caught smashing Gilbert's ex-fiancee. Shaq didn't even show up at the games Gilbert played in the situation was so messy. So the NBA behind closed doors has already talked to them about this I'm sure so as not to create a scene around Lebron. Like, really, who cares about Delonte? Sure wouldn't be David Stern...

as a celtic fan, i hope james has thick skin, he'll be smart and leave his mom home when he visits the garden. at the tip off oneal says to west hey did you do his mother dam. lebron go's nuts 3 points fouls out of game. hey lebron how far west did your momma go. lebron should have just said at the beginning they are two consenting adults
