Natalia Vodianova & Laetitia Casta Paid Pretty Sum To Model For Cavalli (PHOTOS)

Not only were there big names in the front row at Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2011, there were some veteran models on the runway. Natalia Vodianova was tapped to open the 40th anniversary show in Milan on Monday and WWD reports she was paid "50,000-70,000 euros ($67,000-$94,000) for both her walk down the runway in Milan and her attendance at the designer's Paris bash next month -- an event rumored to cost over 1.5 million euros ($2 million)."

Closing the show was one of France's most beautiful women, Laetitia Casta.

Her makeup was, no doubt, was inspired by George Romero.

The insane amount of money paid aside (oh the starving children of just about everywhere on earth) both women are gorgeous. I think Laetitia rather wins; then again, even as a female, white boomer, I've always thought that Latin beauty surpasses all (like Ava, Sophia, and today Penelope)..anyway. I don't usually comment on style page as I'm broke and jealous; but I had to chuckle since in spite of her undeniable beauty my very FIRST thought on seeing the photo was a flashback to an older Scrubs episode with Jake (I think that was the name)..and both Elliot and J.D. noting his magnificant Square Head.

These are great, exotic dresses. Unfortunately, the models aren't wearing the dresses. The dresses are hanging on them like they're a clothes-hangers

Ah-Ha! And I said the dresses are great. They just need to be filled out more to accenuate the beautiful, delicate designs. There are plenty of models that are slim, yet shapely like a Naomi Campbell, and Tyra Banks in her run-ways days.
