I don't know if many of you have visited the musesums in Washington, D.C. They are fantastic in archutecture, style and exhbiits. Each varies in design but all have one thing in common; they are meant to impress and inform on the subject of its purpose.

Depriving women of a Museum they can learn from and use as a learning and/or teachable moment for women, ladies and little girls is sadly typical of  Read More...

This is unfair to these two gentlemen. It's not that they're holding it up, it's just that they can't see to find their way back to the Senate floor because they're heads are firmly embedded into their posteriors.

No independantly wealthy women stepping forward?

Can somebody please ask Sarah Palin what she thinks about this? I'd like to see her head explode trying to figure out which side she is on.

This museum is so near and dear to your hearts that rather than ask women across the country to donate $10 apeice, you have squandered 10 years waiting on men to pay and build it for you!
Vietnam Veterian's Wall, donations!
World War II Veterian's Memorial, donations!

No big surprise here, what the GOP and conservatives in general stand for: bigotry, intolerance, misogyny.

HP don't censor that comment.  We have a right to speak when we are attacked.  Is that you back there Mr. DeMint?

Women represent 52% of the electorate.  You can't get dumber than this.  They all have wives, daughters, mothers etc.  Women are crafty because we have to be or men like this would have us locked away somewhere in the house with an ironing board and a stove.

THEY KNOW NOT WHO THEY OFFEND.  DOES ANYONE REALLY THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE POWERFUL MEN IN HISTORY EITHER HIT OR PUT DOWN THEIR WIVES IN PUBLIC THAT IT CONTINUED AT HOME, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?  I THINK WHEN THE MR. AND MRS. GOT HOME, HE WAS ON HER TURF.

DON'T FUSS WITH US REPUBLICANS!  YOU'LL BE SORRY!

Who cares?

I'm sure it will get through in an earmark like the $400,000 Sparta Teapot Museum or the $550,000 for the Museum of Glass in Tacoma

"The Concerned Women for America notified DeMint asking for a hold...."
This is the group that Christine O'Donnell was a "spokesperson" for.
Sigh...
We can not let the right-wing theocrats win.
Both Coburn and DeMint are members of "The Family." Wait till they have even more power. It won't be pretty.
