Chippendales Can't Trademark 'Cuffs And Collar' Costume

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said in a ruling -- which included a sketch of a fit gentleman shown from the waist up wearing only a bow tie and shirt cuffs -- that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office was correct in refusing to trademark the "Cuffs and Collar" costume.

The photo accompanying the article looks like it was taken in 1980.
I can't believe there is still a Chippendale's. It's about as quaint as Playboy Bunnies.

hey hardy...my ex and i did photography, we did all sorts, it was our business, we did promo shots for chippendale dancers, they were fighting each other for mirror time, i never saw such divas...and yes. most swam in their own pond...
