This video from National Geographic documents the vicious prowl of Nile crocodiles in search of a meal.
According to Nat Geo, crocodiles have been around for over 200 million years, and have hearts and brains more developed than any other reptile.
Nile crocs live in the rivers and marshes of Africa. When the weather gets hottest, large numbers of animals flock to the watering holes to quench their thirst, and the crocodiles get a large buffet of breakfast options, as a result.
These crocs try to take down wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras, though you might be surprised at who manages to escape. But the Nile crocodiles don't discriminate when hunting for their next bite to eat, as even vulnerable baby birds become nothing more than an afternoon snack.
