Michelle Obama's Weekend Wear: Lace-Up Sweater, Light Houndstooth Jacket (PHOTOS, POLL)

The First Family spent the weekend at Camp David, which gave us the opportunity to see a pair of Michelle's traveling ensembles. On Saturday, she boarded the plane wearing what looked like a plain black sweater but had an open back that revealed a colorful blouse underneath.

On Sunday, she arrived back in D.C. playing with magenta and burgundy, donning a colorful sweater and a light, belted houndstooth jacket.

I like Malia's outfit the best. She's bright and cheerful, even though it's fall. I want to like FLOTUS, I can't since she spent so much money in Spain.

I agree with the comments regarding Sasha being super tall. Wow! But what I want to know is where is their hair stylist? And I mean ALL of their hair stylists unless they all have the same hair dresser. Who ever he or she is, they need to make a phone call STAT!

Sorry Madam, but you can't seen wearing this in public. As simple as that. You can still tell the truth and be polite at the same time.

No, Mamm, there are photographers outside waiting to see what you look like. Besides, there's a dressed up soldier waiting to greet you. Best we dress the part.

Or, you look better wearing -----. May I suggest a large hat and sun glasses if you're not up to dressing up today?

Really folks, it's not always bad, but the first lady needs to look more formal. Maybe we should have a law that DICTATES that the FLOTUS must dress overly casual. Ok, we'll be called facists.

I am heartbroken to see MO looking so sad and left-out. The President is so happy, as are the girls. My mother suffered from depression and I know it is not an easy road but it is treatable...

She looks a little tired- but 'depressed and left out'?? Please. No one looks perfect for the cameras 24/7. No one should have to. But it doesn't mean she is suffering from untreated depression or feeling left out by her family! I sincerely hope that Bamabe's remarks were made in a spirit of honest concern and helpfulness. But they are so undermining, I have to wonder!

I love seeing pictures of this family, they are down to earth and well adjusted. I am a pretty happy person and even I dont smile all the time, you dont have to show all your teeth to seem happy all the time. Give michelle a break it is thier weekend off, the girls are gorgeous.

I like the back of the sweater it's unusual, the front not so much. I think a wider neckline would look better. I like the combination on the return. I can't believe that Malia is only 12, she's really tall.

It is their day off, what do you wear on your day off? I am no big Obama fan, but come on, some of these comments are pretty nit picky. The sweater she has on reminds me of how we wore our cardigans backwards (buttoned up the back rather than the front) with a scarf at the neck. I always liked that look. Now my post dates me.
