There are some pretty bizarre sites out there. Some people love architecture for its beauty; others love it for its randomness.

With that in mind, we took at look at some of the weirdest buildings throughout the world and put together a handy list.

Do you have a favorite weird-looking building that didn't make the cut? Send us photos of your picks!

Ever heard of Gaudi in Barcelona?

"random" is probably the worst possible word that could have been chosen to describe a work of architecture. It's totally devaluing and just doesn't make any sense considering how many drafts and meetings any of those designs would have seen before being built.

I remember when those cubic houses in Rotterdam were build. The window cleaners were very mad about it. They had no easy way of cleaning the windows.

That was *not* the Kansas City Public Library! That's the parking garage immediately to the west. *This* is the Kansas City Public LIbrary:

It's housed in an old bank building. If you look on the extreme left side of the photo you can just barely make out the tops of some of the book spines covering the parking garage.

It only takes a little bit of care to be accurate, HuffPo.

All great fun and would love to see the inside of some of these buildings.Of course selling them after they go into foreclosure could be problematic.

There are some wonderful buildings here, but how could you not mention Antoni Gaudi's buildings in Spain? I think that without his groundbreaking work, some of these architects would have lacked inspiration.

I couldn't believe I scrolled thru here and none of his was on here.

Oh yes, you're right. Especially 'Casa Milà', wonderful building! Really, most of his work is just awe inspiring.

Another architecture article sorely lacking detail. It takes five minutes to include: the location, the name of the architect/designer, the date it was built, and the function of the building.
