Two days after the U.S. Government issued a travel alert to Europe, the Japanese government has echoed the sentiment and issued an alert for their own citizens, The Early Show reports.

News reports are stating that German and British citizens affiliated with al Qaeda may help carry out the attacks against unnamed European cities.

CBS News' Bob Orr reports that of the European locations believed to be the center of the plan are transit systems, tourist attractions and hotels.

Terror alert levels

lowest - be anxious, but continue to shop
low - be worried, but go about your business
medium- be very worried, report your neighbors
high - attack is imminent, no time for questions
EXTREME - only we can save you, vote for us

Not worried at all. I'm more worried about getting hit by a car crossing the street. In Poland it is a adventure using crosswalks.

It is not so much the danger of being directly impacted by a terror attack -- the chances are fairly minimal.

Rather, it is the disruption that would occur in travel if a terror attack happened ANYWHERE in the continent -- particularly involving a plane. The results could be a nightmare.

Does anyone remember what happened when a volcano erupted in Iceland earlier this year?

If you change the way you live or travel in any way the terrorists win. That's the way I see it.
