Gee....when you introduce the picture & refer to the dress color as "Pepto-Bismol", you pretty much seal her fate. Couldn't you have used "Bubble Gum" or "Cotton Candy"?

Eh. Never mind....you're right, it's not very flattering. Maybe it was a Breast Cancer thing.

That dress would look horrible without the cardigan. The sweater really makes the look, and so does the fresh face and simple hair-do. I love this look. It's really charming. This is Pepto Bismol pink done classy.

There are many beautiful shades of pink, but Pepto-Bismal pink is not hers. Her skin is too pinky for it.

She's young and it's a fun dress. Fashion should be fun at her age. If she was 30 it would be a different story. At her age she shouldn't have to dress to the nines every time she's out. "Cute" still works for her. Fad fashions are allowed.
