Michael Douglas Finishing Cancer Treatment

Michael Douglas is finishing up his treatment for throat cancer, Entertainment Tonight reports:

The Hollywood legend's longtime friend and rep Allen Burry tells ET this is the actor's last week of radiation and chemo treatment. It will be followed up by at least six weeks of recuperation before he can begin to get back on his feet. The doctors are very pleased with how it has gone and no further treatments have been scheduled.

Radaronline.com has photos of Michael walking his daughter to school on Tuesday in New York.

According to Radar, wife Catherine Zeta-Jones told reporters, "He's just finishing up his treatment. He's holding up very, very well and everyone could not be happier with the progress. He's doing fine thanks. He's strong and the doctors are so happy and he's just about to complete - what anyone who's gone through it knows - a pretty grueling eight weeks."

Our fabulous Michael,often listen "INNER SELF HEALING" a subliminal casette,,headaches disapear,the music just tells the body to feel good & work in perfect order.Its by Jonathan Parker,Quantum Quest,has them as well. You listen to classical music as the words say for the body to heal,become strong,all of it!. Sure seems to do that. What a good looking son,amazing identical looks. Maybe he will write his film script of his dreams and wishes! Hope he has the same assitance Betty Ford comes up with!. Like group talking,long walks,proper nutrition. .Edy

I am praying for Michael Douglas. I want him very much to get through this. I am happy the doctors are happy. Keep fighting Michael!!!

Michael Douglas with the help of his dad Kirk Douglas and Milos Forman plus Ken Kesey produced "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" one of the best films in the 20th Century.

What do you know about his personal situation other than what you read in the gossip papers. You are in no position to judge his marriage/divorce. He, therefore, does not need your approval.

I remember when Michael and Catherine first married. I was so skeptical in wondering if she was a gold-digger.

I can say that I now have much admiration for Catherine because she is not one of those kind of women. Also, I'm glad that she is by Michael's side throughout this situation because they truly love each other. Their love is so apparent and I wish them health and many years of continued happiness.

wow...Hmm, Im surprized they are giving this - so much coverage considering the private matter that Cancer is......I guess it Helps to have MILLIONS too $$$ my X's aunt had stage 4 throat cancer...got radiation,chemo...and even her voice box removed....and STILL wound up Dying.
