Irmgard Holm Mistakes Super Glue For Eye Drops (VIDEO)

Irmgard Holm of Arizona had what she called "a nightmare-and-a-half" over the weekend when she mistook Super Glue for eye drops, MyFoxPhoenix.com reports. She explained, "The bottles look identical. You know, I'm not young anymore but I'm not senile."

Paramedics had to cut off the glue and Holm avoided any major consequences. It turns out this type of mistake isn't so rare, with "Super Glue ocular injuries" dating back to 1982.

Now the question is, whom is she going to sue. Isn't that where this is going? One would think that the strong smell and fumes of Superglue would be noticible.

Why in the world would you put superglue near your eyedrops? A lot of things look similar, but to put glue with your medication is just foolish especially if they look alike.

I once mistook eyedrops for superglue. I couldn't glue anything together. Fortunately I realized my mistake before it was too late. It was almost traumatic for me.

Since eyedrops go IN the eye, I don 't get this story. I would think it would be far worse if this really happened. When I use eye drops, I don't put them on my eyelashes! Supposedly she had coated her eyes with super glue. That's a whole 'nother story! Maybe she should get some "cheaters" so she can read the labels.
