Sarah Palin: 'Dancing With The Stars' Wanted Husband Todd

Todd Palin, not Bristol, may have been 'Dancing With the Stars' producers' first choice. CNN reports that Sarah let this tidbit slip during an event on Tuesday:

"They wanted Todd to be on the show," Palin remarked during a speaking appearance in Houston. "I think that would have been cool to see, too. But here Bristol is, out of her comfort zone, doing something all new."

Bristol floundered during her most recent 'Dancing' performance, scoring higher than only Margaret Cho, who was dismissed the next night.

CNN also reports that an audience member asked Sarah about whether she would ever dance on the show, and she made a joke about her basketball skills:

"They would have to let me dribble back and forth and maybe pivot and do a jump shot or something as part of the routine," she said. "In fact, when Bristol said, 'I don't know how to dance,' I told her, just think of it as learning some basketball plays."
