Fendi Boutique Opening At Beverly Center

Huffington Post     First Posted: 10/08/10 08:41 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 07:00 PM ET

Actresses Erika Christensen, Abigail Spencer, and Kelly Osbourne made it clear that black was back in a big way at the Beverly Center's Fendi Boutique opening yesterday. Hosted by Chloe Sevigny and the LACMA group Avant-Garde, proceeds from the sales that night went toward LACMA.

Fashion Rules! blog notes that it may seem strange that such a high-end boutique would set up shop at the Beverly Center, but it is in good company:

Dior has an accessories store in the Beverly Center - so do Louis Vuitton and Burberry and D&G - and Prada is about to open one, too.

Kelly looks so pretty. Phoebe looks so scary. Who is she anyway? She turns up everywhere.

I love Sharon Osbourne. Her appearance on Graham Norton's show was one of the funniest I've ever seen.

I'll never understand the high-end duplication at the Beverly Center. It still doesn't make it an appealing mall due to its location, parking and traffic. Gucci, Dior and Vuitton have MUCH bigger spaces a few miles west on Rodeo Drive.

and you talk about parking? Rodeo and Beverly Hills are nightmares. With plenty of parking and one stop shopping, the Bev Center still has strong appeal. This isn't your Mother's Mall.
