If you want to understand why any critical discussion of Jewish people or Israel is met with such harsh resistance in the United States, watch the documentary called "Defamation" by Jewish-Israeli filmmaker Yoav Shamir. It's on NetFlix (right now available streaming). Another documentary (that's less general and more focused on foreign policy) is called "The Israel Lobby" by Dutch filmmaker Marije Meerman.

I wish my state had a frighteningly unintelligent witchcraft dabbling non-masturbator I could vote against- oh wait! Tennessee does! Her name is Marsha Blackburn. Greg Rabidoux for TN's 7th district!

With the media refusing to report on atrocities committed by Israeli settlers as just one more example, joking about Sanchez comes off as cover for censorship designed to keep Americans uninformed about the truth he dared bring up.

Ugly isn't funny.

YouTube has the truth, yet none in the media think it's news? C'mon. He wasn't wrong unless you believe executives have the right to decide for us that one side in a conflict can do no wrong. Pre-filtered is not how they present their product or industry.

Jon being in denial about this despite being otherwise so well informed suggests something other than bigotry.

Presuming I was referring to the useless name calling though?

Re #4:

After visiting Philadelhia to watch our Mets play the Phillies, the fans were being particularly insulting until I commented, "We're going back to New York but you have to stay here."

That really seemed to tick them off.
