Mickey Mouse Learns Of Glenn Beck's Cartoon Conspiracy Theory (VIDEO)

Last week we showed you Jonathan McIntosh's Donald Duck/Glenn Beck remix, where he used old Disney clips and soundbites from Beck's radio show to imply that Beck could spread fear and paranoia into the heart of anyone - even Donald Duck.

Apparently, Beck also saw the video and responded on his radio show by saying it was "Some of the best propaganda" he'd seen. In true Beck fashion he took things a step further, saying that there is a government conspiracy against him, and that "some of these remix videos, I believe, get federal funding."

Thankfully, YouTube user iKat381 jumped on the remix bandwagon and put together this Mickey Mouse/Glenn Beck mashup, wherein Mickey learns of this vast governmental cartoon conspiracy via Beck's radio show and has a response not unlike his duck counterpart.

Cute, but the Donald one was funnier. I guess Donald's short temper just gives more to work with.

Beck the victim, again.

Beck is a conspiracy theorist, and thus, like all conspiracy theorists, engages in occult thinking. The salient principle of occult thinking being that if a relationship can be conceived then it must exist. That this type of thinking is all too common is evidenced by the success of such pabulum as "The Da Vinci Code." Perhaps the best description of this sort of mindset and behavior is found in Umberto Eco's "Foucault's Pendulum."

Which is bigger, his inflated sense of importance, his ego, or his complete disregard for facts or consequences?

Good satire, by the way. Beck can sure dish it out but poor widdle guy can't take it. No him can't.

Recently, Beck came out on his radio show about how he was going to a "hospital out west" to have a variety of medical problems diagnosed. One of these, and i could not even make this up, was this:

"Glenn also said the listeners may have noticed a change in how he sounds on the air. He said he’s been having problems with his vocal cords and that doctors will also be examining this problem."

Problems with his vocal cords happening to a man who spews hate, fear, and his own dirty brand of propaganda day in and day out? That is some sweet, sweet poetic justice. The people who post on that site send him nothing but prayers and love (it's funny to see one or two anti-Beck posts amid the Jesus this and God that). This man can do no wrong to the people who adore him, and that makes him scarier than all hell. I just hope more and more people can expose him for the divisive opportunist that he is, but it worries me that his following is so large, so well armed, and so, so ignorant of - even hostile towards - the truth.

Watch the movie "A Face in the Crowd". It is Beck's playbook. Came out in 1957 but still can happen today.

Next we're going to have to see what happens when the Looney Tunes hear GB's rants.

Ah, and here we go again. Debating the nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind.

Wow. He sounds like bloody a fascist. "The Communists... the Socialists... the International JEW." Well, he didn't say that last part. But it reminded me of a certain paranoid Bavaria-born German leader who used fear and the repetitious use of imagined enemies to cow a frightened people into obedience.

I dont see how it can be propaganda, Everything that came out of that radio was his own spoken word. Unless he was actually refering to himself.

This cartoon is not up to the original, but it'll do.
Beck's remarks really do go beyond self-defensive political rebuttal - this is pure, naked paranoia. The only quesion is, does Beck really believe this, and exposes his own mental illness? or is it that he thinks his audience is mentally ill and this is how he plays to that?
My guess a little of both.
