The CBS 60 Minutes segment last night on high speed computer trading-50%-70% of all trading in stocks- strongly suggested that insiders on Wall Street have a stunning advantage over ordinary investors.

The program also left the impression that this huge non-transparent electronic system of buy and sell orders could cause further sudden meltdowns or even melt-ups due to the arithmetic formulas that give orders to computers.
