Chris Santella has put together another book in his Fifty Places series: "Fifty Places To Hike Before You Die," which came out this week.

Santella asked expedition leaders, park rangers and expert hikers for their recommendations of off-the-beaten path hiking destinations.

From the more well-known Banff in Canada to the more remote El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in Mexico, Santella compiled a fascinating assortment of destinations around the world.

If you've been to these places, or if you have another favorite destination, share them with us!
