I call Bull$hit on the "Getting killed by reptile". India has a estimated 10,000 deaths a year from snakebites. We are not even in the game on this one.

This one is a slame dunk. The U.S. isn't even in the game. I suspect most countries in Africa also have higher number of deaths by reptile. Maybe it is the "most Americans killed by reptile" since Americans are the only people who count.

Increasing the defense budget again? How are we going to pay for it ... heck, it needs to be cut by a quarter just to pay for all those tax cuts you guys like.

We cannot afford to spend 30% of our national yearly budget on toys we do not need. We spend more money on defense then the ENTIRE world combined, for goodness sake.

All these statistics are questionable, what tipped me off was car theft - we may very well have more cars stolen than anywhere else; but we also have more cars than anywhere else. When weighted per capita - the U.S. drops way down the list.

I wonder what other statistics have been misrepresented - granted this is in the Comedy section so I shouldn't be so picky.

You are correct. Many countries ahead of USA in car theft as % of car population ...they probably mean total stolen which could be true 3% of 300m cars is 9M (1:33) whereas South Africa with 15M loses over 1M to theft (1:15).
