Zach Galifianakis Gets Bruce Willis 'Between Two Ferns' (VIDEO)

First Posted: 10/13/10 10:07 AM ET Updated: 05/26/11 11:20 AM ET

Zach Galifianakis is back with another hilarious installment of "Between Two Ferns," the online talk show where he interviews celebrities in the most awkward way imaginable. This episode's victim is Bruce Willis, whose no-nonsense demeanor works perfectly with the Galifianakis style of questioning. Watch Galifianakis pester Willis with questions like "Do you read Ashton's tweets?" and "What are you talking about, Willis?" until Willis breaks down and unleashes some pretty dark life observations on him. Oh, and watch out from really sly product placement as well.

That was the worst of those. I think that the premise has run its course.

In my opinion, ZG is currently the funniest man in America.

Zach's interview style is comparable to the late great Mortimer Snerd.

I love how Zach always subtly (and not-so-subtly) says what a lot of us are thinking about actors and actresses roles and performances...

Ideas for upcoming episodes (that may not end well..):
Mel Gibson (on usage of phones),
Alec Baldwin (on voicemail),
Tom Cruise (on Oprah and scientology..obviously)
Robert Downey Jr. (on anything)

Funny stuff. Although, I hope to see Zach's effeminate, southern twin brother Seth again.

Zach is fantastic! I'm glad he is getting big roles in movies now. He could be a lead in a movie, but I think what he does would be better in a supporting role and he would probably steal the show.

I just about *never* laugh out loud when a movie trailer is screened in the theater--but Due Date had me cracking up (and Downey's in it!)

Sorry Bruce, Zack. That is the first BTF I did not feel was impromptu. Each exchange (I refer back to the Charlize Theron for example) in prior episodes felt like it revealed something (even if it came from a fiction) about the actor. Theron's commandeering of the interview seemed like she was really punishing the bad interviewer.

This felt like something less than camp (what they were obviously aiming for). The fact that Willis does not want to plumb the depths of his soul (hello Sean Penn) makes each cadence seem telegraphed and a caricature of the ritual drama.

I would not spend the time on this, but many of the others came off so brilliantly...
