MTV Asks Obama 'Town Hall' Participants For 'Light' Questions

After asking what topics I was personally interested in, they asked what question I'd want to ask President Obama if I were in a room with him. I gave a sample question to give them a sense of where I'd go, but not anything specific (something about the role that federal policy plays in preventing bullying in light of the recent attention to suicide). The next question was: What lighter question would I ask the President -- something related to pop culture perhaps. I hadn't given any thought to this because, really, what moron blows this opportunity by asking the President "Mac or PC?" I gave them some light question and it was the one note that was made during the interview. I was not invited to attend.

For all the tro11s on here, we know you didn't even watch the town hall, if you did you would know more about the questions that were asked of the President. But since none of you know what was asked I expect you just read the headline with the help of your 3rd grader at home and then decided to spew. Just laughable. Besides learning to brush your tooth you people also should learn to read.

It irks the he// out of me to read these "non-comments" because it seems nobody really read the article at all. You jumped right on the Obama bandwagon to diss him and this article had nothing to do with him personally. It was all about the MTV PR people who solicited the questions in the first place.

Nothing but a bunch of 'tarts' here saying nothing as usual. I'm gone!

Obama never called anybody. Obama didn't arrange the questioning. Blame the proper sources for your anger, not Obama.

MTV probably wanted to get more questions in than just a few because Obama is "long winded" and would chew up their time. It's the PR people who sets these things up so stop dissing Obama when he had nothing to do with it I'm sure.
