President Obama Defends Himself In Hilarious Musical Send-Up (VIDEO)

You might have seen the parody song we posted yesterday about Christine O'Donnell, but today we've got another musical send-up that's just as impressive: "Obama! A Modern U.S. President." From Ron Butler comes this seriously funny music video where the President responds to those who say he's not living up to the country's expectations. Not only is it a pretty convincing argument (as well as an entertaining one) but Butler does a near-perfect impression of Obama. I guess you have to be familiar with Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera The Pirates of Penzance, and know what a patter song is to appreciate this bit.

Barack Obama has single-handedly solved the economic crisis, pulled our troops completely out of Iraq, shut down Guantanamo Bay, repealed the Patriot Act, and restored the Federal Government to its role as clearly outlined in the Constitution. Obama ftw :P
