Boss's Day 2010: The Funniest Someecards To Send To Your Boss!

First Posted: 10/15/10 12:45 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 07:00 PM ET

One of the many great things about Someecards is that they have a card for every occasion -- even Boss's Day, which you surely know is tomorrow (and therefore celebrated today). What better way to show appreciation for the higher-ups than to send them one of these delightful e-cards? It's a easier than buying flowers, and it'll make him or her laugh more, too. Send one of these cards, or go to their website and send another one for birthdays, anniversaries, or just because.

Let's just admit it. There is no better way to say you don't care about someone than giving them an e-card. They all should read as follows: I don't give a damn about you but feel obligated to give you something, so here's an e-card.

Boss' Day - every day is Boss' Day. What rubbish.

Now International Talk Like A Pirate Day ... Aye! THAT'S a day even lily-livered landlubbers can embark on! Aaaarrr!

I told my boss I'm leaving to take another job on Thursday. Then a couple hours later I heard him telling someone Sunday is boss's day. Ooops!

How stupid, Bosses' Day. Last time I had a boss the fool thought every day was his day and he rubbed noses in it. He and the fool who hired him were so good they bankrupted the company.

I think they oughta call it "Tell Your Boss What You Really Think Day" and let employees choose whether or not the boss is worth honoring.

I've been in charge, I know the drill, but the reality is that most people stink at being the boss and are proof of the Peter Principle.

Number 3 sounds like too many of the places I've been sentenced to...uh, I mean gotten a job at. And I don't think it would be a good idea to belabor the obvious by sending number 2.

Isn't boss day every day when you really think about it? It's all about the big man... or woman.

Actually, being the boss is a lot of hard work for most of us, where you get crapped on by your superiors, and bitched and whined at by your subordinates. It's really not all its cracked up to be.

Exactly. Forget moving up the ladder. The bottom rung is where it's at!

Obviously you also get your @.ss kissed by disgusting subservient lowest lifeforms who survive by currying favors from their bosses, or there would not be a boss's day.

When I first heard of Boss's Day, I thought "Are you kidding?" Is the card industry that hard up? What a terrible idea! There are all kinds of possible mischief when underlings are obligated to curry favor with the boss. Sure enough, a few years later, I heard of an office where an immature jerk of a boss was thoroughly miffed because he had not received as many gifts as another supervisor. When is someone going to nix this made-up holiday?
