Bill Clinton Stumps for Jerry Brown, Gavin Newsom In 2nd California Rally

WATCH: Bill Clinton Stumps For Brown, Newsom In 2nd Rally

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP)-- Former President Bill Clinton warned that young voters who helped propel President Barack Obama to the White House could cost Democrats electoral victories this November if they fail to vote.

Clinton appeared with California gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown and lieutenant governor hopeful Gavin Newsom Sunday night at San Jose State University. It was Clinton's second appearance in two days with Brown and Newsom. Both face tight races.

He pleaded with the crowd of 5,000 supporters not to sit out the midterm election, which typically favors the minority party.

The San Jose event was Clinton's 84th campaign stop this election season to drum up support for Democratic candidates in a year where many voters are disgruntled with the economy and high unemployment.
