Food52 and its co-founders Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs have invited HuffPost Food readers to vote on the contest for week 4 (of the second year, and the second book).

But now that we've tasted them together, they're going to be seeing a lot more of each other in our kitchens. The lemon and garlic scented panko add snap and complexity to the sweet, caramelized cauliflower -- and together you have a side dish that you could easily double or triple for a large party, and even make ahead. In fact, we like this best at room temperature, which has an added benefit: if you wait until the cauliflower is cool to sprinkle the bread crumbs on top, they'll stay good and crisp! - A&M

Kayb's sweet and tangy marinade is just what raw cauliflower needs to transform it from a humdrum crudité to a zippy accompaniment for barbecue, or even a simple hors d'oeuvre all of its own. Cider vinegar and sugar are tinted a psychedelic yellow from a combination of ground mustard and turmeric, which adds earthiness and a hint of spice. - A&M
