Now more than ever, the world is a scary place. Luckily, Stephen Colbert is around to hold our hand, look us in the eye, and confirm how truly terrifying it is. Few public figures are brave enough to champion the "March To Keep Fear Alive" (now, after joining forces with Jon Stewart's rally, the "Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear") but Colbert's weekly "ThreatDown" has been doing his part to remind viewers about the horrors of the world since "The Colbert Report" began.

The segment has often been a highlight of the show, counting down that week's biggest threats to America -- and more often than not, that list includes Stephen's arch-enemies: bears.
