Writer's Bloc Hosts Arianna Huffington And Adam McKay

10/18/2010 08:06 pm ET | Updated May 25, 2011

Who: Arianna Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post, and Adam McKay, comedian, writer, director, and co-founder of FunnyOrDie.com.

What: The two writers will be appearing at the launch of Writers Bloc's 15th season to discuss Huffington's latest book, Third World America: How Our Politicians Are Abandoning The Middle Class And Betraying The American Dream. Huffington warns that the United States is in danger of losing its middle class--and discusses what we can do to save ourselves.

When: Wednesday October 20, 2010 (7:30pm)

Where: Temple Emanuel, 300 N. Clarke Drive Beverly Hills, California 90211. Parking available at 8844 Burton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90211

How: Tickets cost $20 and can be paid at the door. Make reservations by emailing reservations@writersblocpresents.com.

Why: What does a comedy writer have to do with a discussion on the declining middle class? While most of us know Adam McKay from Saturday Night Live, Funny Or Die, or that adorably disturbing Pearl The Landlady video (his daughter is the star), McKay has also been a Huffington Post blogger since 2005.
