Very lovely and very elegant but I wonder if people were shocked when they first saw changing fashions even then. Seems to me I remember my mother commenting on Dior's "New Look" and finding the fashions a bit outré. How times have changed. I really enjoyed this retrospective thanks for it's inclusion HP.

Very interesting.

It's also a reminder how far, conceptually, stylists and photographers are willing to take shoots nowadays, though. You see a lot of stories / ideas being explored in 5-15 shots, expression that goes beyond 'theme' to 'worlds'.

It doesn't detract historically from where we've been, but where we are now shouldn't be derided either.
