Mayor Of Castellammare di Stabia, Small Italian Town, Proposes Miniskirt Ban

AOL Travel News:

A seaside town in Southern Italy is considering a ban on women wearing miniskirts and other revealing outfits.

The ban, proposed by the mayor of Castellammare di Stabia, would also cover outfits that show too much cleavage and low-rise jeans.

Mayor Luigi Bobbio says the restrictions would "restore urban decorum and facilitate better civil co-existence" in the town near Naples.

So the parish priest agrees because it will reduce sexual harassment. Can't he just teach the men of his flock to take personal responsibility for themselves? Perhaps he is worried they will turn personal responsibility for men’s sexual behavior back onto the church. Oh, wait; there is also a proposed law against heresy. Never mind.

Its a shame that women feel the need to stoop so low and get approval from men by giving them the pleasure of undressing for them.
