When it comes to the hit new musical about the rise of the modern Democratic party "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" journalists and bloggers have already noticed the show's uncanny parallels with the current Tea Party movement. Its themes of populism are a given similarity, but as Matt Wilstein of Gotcha Media points out in the video below, some of the lines from the musical are straight from Tea Partiers' mouths.
Watch this mash-up of the song "Populism, Yeah, Yeah!" from the musical with some of Wilstein's favorite Tea Party characters. It's really funny how well the party's buzzwords said by Sarah Palin, Christine O'Donnell and Glenn Beck go together with the satirical song.
