The Harvard Business Review published an article this week discussing how and why Michelle Obama's fashion choices have so much influence on people's decision to purchase clothes from certain labels. David Yermac, who gathered the data for the article, argued, "Few models or celebrities make the kind of impact on company stock price that Michelle Obama does. The First Lady’s astonishing influence may be tied to the fact that consumers know she’s not paid to wear what she does, whereas they may subconsciously discount models’ endorsements as inherently corrupt."

"Designer Tommy Hilfiger would love to dress Michelle Obama for an occasion. Indeed, the fact that she hasn't worn his clothes for something fancy seems to bother him a lot. "I don’t think she knows I make dressy, formal clothes," he opined in Women's Wear Daily."

Oh?! He must have forgotten that he lamented that Black folks would wear his clothing. He should not believe the First Lady would have him dress her.
