Brett Favre Admits Leaving Voicemails, Denies Sending Naked Pictures

NEW YORK — Brett Favre reportedly admitted leaving voicemails for the former New York Jets game hostess to whom a website says he also sent lewd photos.

Fox television's Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Favre told league investigators earlier this week he left phone messages for Jenn Sterger, who worked for the Jets in 2008 when Favre was their quarterback.

Fox did not say who provided the information. The NFL said it is not commenting on details of the investigation.

Glazer also reported that Favre denied sending Sterger inappropriate photos.

The NFL is investigating a Deadspin report earlier this month that Favre sent the racy photos to Sterger two years ago. Sterger, now an on-air personality for Versus, has not cooperated with the league yet, but her manager, Phil Reese, told The Associated Press on Sunday that could happen quickly.

"She is strongly considering it, leaning toward it," Reese said.

Asked if Favre admitted leaving the voicemails for Sterger, but denied sending any photos, Reese added:

"We're currently in the fact-gathering stage; all I'm doing is dealing with facts. Unfortunately the person in the pictures didn't also hold up their driver's license, so I'm not going to speculate as far as identity. But I'm working with people to diligently get all the facts."

Reese also has said that Sterger has had no discussions with Favre's representatives about a possible financial settlement stemming from the allegations.

Favre and the Vikings play Sunday night at Green Bay.

At first I thought Jen Sterger was the unwilling and maybe intimidated victim of gonzo sexual harassment. Now, I notice that her job description with the Jets has changed from "sideline reporter" to "hostess". Would that be a euphemism for "contract prostitute"? It would explain why some Jets executive thought it OK to give out her cell phone number ( a hanging offense in any real-world workplace) ,why Favre sounds so peevish and pushy in the messages, and finally why they were both confident she would not go to the League Headquarters or police. They merely expected her to do her job. Not that it makes Favre any less low-rent white-trashy, but it leaves the Jets with some 'splainin' to do.

We'd need to add: subjecting your spouse/loved ones/partner to your 'rightful' indulgences (because you think you are above the law and stand head and shoulder above all mere mortals) these days comes with a very high price, indeed, these days: it's more than interesting to note Deanna's complicity in this debacle: never mind that at any point she has placed herself at significant risk on so many levels for what most of America might perceive to be 'minor transgressions.'

The punishments so far have been correct. One person tortured helpless animals for no other reason than blood sport (he sure didn't need the money.)

The other pesters adults who have rights, resources and options to fight back.

Vick got off easy. A better example might have been Plaxico Burress and the way HE was treated by the law in terms of punishment.

Actually, Vick got punished very close to the fullest extent of the law at that time. Unless you are advocating for a constitutional amendment which would give as many rights to dogs as human, your point is mute.

Here are a few examples of EWM's whose sickery has been Exposed over the last few weeks that prove that White Males Super Force field (thats auto delivered in the mail along with their decoder ring - you know the one that comes automatically with being born white/male and becomes even more powerful with accumulation of money and influence. It protects WM from alot of things including but most importantly police profiling - remember the police actually returning the victim (korean) back to jeffrey dahmer after he had escaped only to be subsequently eaten by dahmer? Classic! ) has been liquified. The force field is down -- repeat the Field is down!
1. Entitled White Man/Sports: He sent a pic of his genitals to the internet.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
2. EWM/Politics: Passed around pics of W.woman having sex with a horse to et al his EWM buddies - who told two friends and so on and so on...
3. EWM/Judicial: Dresses up as a Nazi...For FUN - then passes pics

Maybe there should be a law passed that EWM dont get to use the internet or have access to email. We'd all be a lot safer and less naseous. Thank you. I'll be here all week!

Look at the coverage they're giving Tiki Barber. Disregard the fact that TV personalities get divorced every week (note Matt Lauer). Disregard the fact that athletes of every race get divorced each week (note Greg Norman). His every move, such as taking his girlfriend to a party, is reported in the press with such vitriol that you'd think Tiki Barber had been accused of raping two women. The media won't be happy until Tiki Barber is no longer on TV.

Would they do this if Tiki wasn't black.

This is the worst aspect of America.

How does a former governor who paid for prostitutes with state funds can get his own TV show two years later.

Why was Plaxico Burress sentenced to a maximum prison sentence for accidentally discharging his gun and shooting himself in the leg.

I think this Farve thing by the NFL is just plain political correctness silliness! This girl must receive more crap messages from guys than the public can imagine; you've seen her pin-up-photos -- she's hot and knows it!! Girls that live by displaying their assets are use to guys making jerks of themselves. Question, why did she come out now with the revelation that took place 2 years ago?
