Colorado Senate Race Attracted $3.6 Million From Outside Groups In One Day

Outside groups spent $3.6 million to influence the Colorado Senate race -- and that was just last Tuesday alone.

The flash of Colorado cash was part of a record-smashing one-day spending spree of $39.8 million in so-called independent expenditures, nearly two-thirds more than the previous one-day high of $24.3 million set a week earlier on Oct. 12.
