Mark Zuckerberg's First 'Facebook Questions' Query

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 10/26/10 09:28 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:05 PM ET

Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook launched Questions, a Q&A feature, in July of this year.

According to Forbes, this week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg asked his first question on Facebook Questions.

Forbes writes, "But if you were wondering what unanswered, burning queries were on the young billionaire's mind, don't hold your breath. Zuckerberg asked this: "Does Rihanna write her own music?""

If Forbes is correct that this is Zuckerberg's first question using the Q&A service, it seems surprising that it took Zuckerberg some 3 months to pose a query using the new feature.

Have you used Facebook Questions? What was your first question? Have you found it useful? Weigh in below.

LinkedIn has a good Questions feature. Useful and effective. They say the key to success is asking the right questions...

I have a question to Zuckerberg

Do you have any morals at all?

I hate that picture of Zuckerberg, it's so incredibly goofy.

I participate in several of these Questions fora and find them interesting.

I think at some point, if America is really seeking to "grow jobs" -- then building a payment system for providing knowledge through the Web would have to be a prime area of investment for private equity and Government as well.

Think very seriously about how great it is for the human body politic to have people like this controlling a billion dollars of wealth and where it leads us, if there is any leading whatsoever going on what do you think it is doing for the planet? Does anyone really care that 2000+ years of social consciousness and this is the kind of thing we can produce that gets the most coverage.

Who gives a crap? That's my question.
03:04 PM on 10/26/2010
My first question would be, "Why does Facebook foist useless features on us on a regular basis?"

20 years of the Internet and there does not even exist a place when everything can register itself and be found, like a telephone directory ... no regulations that say government of business entities must have some kind of legal portal for communication. There is no law about what software that is allowed to run on user's computer is allowed to do, and no means to enforce it or regulate it.

Did people think 1984 was a comedy, or looked good? Facebook could be a useful utility, but instead like everything else it's just a big nosy advertising program to find out about people and get their information to the right place ... or the wrong place.

wth is Facebook questions?

Facebook Questions is useless. It lacks a proper, moderated structured, unlike that of Yahoo Answers which is way better. I don't believe that the feature is needed on the social network and although I've dabbled with it for a few minutes, I'd love to be able to disable/remove it

Yahoo Answers is kind of interesting, but when I looked at it there was not very much of value. Lots of kids asking someone to do their homework for them, and lots of failed or yet to fail comedians trying to be funny.

Is it me, or does Mark Zuckerberg look like that demon baby from The Passion Of The Christ? :)

The kid had an idea that only time will tell whether it was a good one or a bad one. Take Sarah Palin for example, who uses his site to launch lies instead of using it for social networking.

Social networking depends on being sociable in person.
