'Friday Night Lights' stars Michael B. Jordan and Aimee Teagarden responded to the GQ photo shoot that showed 'Glee' stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron stripping in the halls of a high school.

Teegarden, who plays the teenage daughter of high school football coach Eric Taylor, told The Huffington Post that "GQ is not the market for a 15-year-old girl who is watching the TV show."

Her costar Michael B. Jordan, who plays quarterback Vince Howard, said that "Everybody has to realize the difference between the characters and actors."

Teegarden and Jordan spoke to The Huffington Post before the premiere of the fifth season of Friday Night Lights, on DirecTV October 27.

"Everybody has to realize the difference between the characters and actors." They should, but they don't. Girls starved themselves years ago, to look like Susan Dey and Twiggy. Americans seem to be the most foolish viewing public in the world.

Somehow we cannot seem to fathom that this is a job, not real life. That we do not know these people, even if we find ourselves relating to them. And that they are not to be emulated en masse; they are simply actors. Not writers, teachers, or doctors. Simply actors.

i love the show, and these two are GREAT actors, but that was a lame and incoherent defense of the GQ shoot. NON-STORY.

The news *should* have been tonite's season premiere of Friday Night Lights' final season on Direct TV (to be followed on NBC sometime in 2011).

IMO, this is the best drama on network television. It's not so much about football. (Football is the backdrop much like the Korean War was the backdrop for MASH). It's about good storytelling, great writing and acting. The kind of stuff we don't see too much of anymore on network TV.

Both Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton were deservedly nominated for Emmys and hopefully will be nominated again for this last season. They portray the most realistic married couple on television.

A couple 24 year-old women do a Britney-style photo-shoot in GQ. Apparently, we are all supposed to discuss this for years, or something.

It's ridiculous.

I don't know where else to post this, but Dancing With the Stars had a much more racy school themed dance number last night that I haven't heard a peep about.

If the goal is for everyone to recognize the difference between the characters and the actors (which I agree with), then perhaps they should not set the racy photo shoot in costumes and scene associated with the CHARACTERS.

Could not agree more!
