After years of searching for a flagship, Seattle-based department store Nordstrom has decided to debut a brand new concept store at 350 West Broadway in Soho. The retailer will occupy the ground and second level of the 11,000 square foot building.
Pamela Lopez, a Nordstrom spokeswoman, explained to Crain's that it will be a "unique, philanthropic-based store concept," and that "all profits will go to nonprofit organizations." It is unclear exactly what merchandise will be sold and whether or not it will be exclusive to the Soho space.
The store is set to open in Fall 2011.
