Dita Von Teese: I Have A Whole Room Dedicated To Hats

We've heard about the Vogue editor who has a separate apartment for her clothes, but how about the burlesque beauty who has a room full of hats?

Dita Von Teese admitted to Vogue UK, "I have a huge collection of hats -- I have a whole room dedicated to them so that's a lot of hat."

She added, "You have to be brave to wear a hat. Wearing a hat says: 'I have confidence and I don't mind if people are looking at me,'" but noted, "I have to put a hat on myself. There's just something about wearing it the right way, getting the right tilt, it's super important."

She's hardly a beauty, but she has a gimmick stripping and vintage clothes....before that it was stripping and fetish clothes. She's an example of someone with little talent and lots of determination, a decent bod and the knowledge that she can find a gimmick that's a bit outside the box and take it to the bank... because for some reason people will pay for her gimmick.

There's no there there.

Every time I see her, I think the same thing: how I long to see this woman in a pair of jeans, t-shirt and bare or natural face. She has a nice style but turn it off once in awhile.

I know she's new, but HP should do her as one of its fashion icons. I've made this comment before, but not too many people can pull their fantasies together and make them reality. Dita von Teese does.
