Naomi Watts Or Rosario Dawson: Who Wore It Better? (PHOTOS, POLL)

A bold shoulder can be tough to pull off but both Naomi Watts and Rosario Dawson tried to tackle the sartorial challenge in gowns by Stella McCartney. Naomi wore her fuchsia version in May, which she paired with jeweled, peep-toe heels, bracelets and a metallic clutch. Rosario donned the number in pale blue on Tuesday and paired it with beige pumps, a matching clutch and chain-link earrings.

Okay now I know what I am doing wrong. Often I get so entangled in my bedsheets that I cannot escape and am forced to wear them out for the evening. But, if I sleep in satin sheets instead of flannel, I can achieve the glamorous looks shown here! LOL

This is about the only style of a satin dress which I've seen which doesn't look like the woman has a pot belly. Most satin dresses make even skinny women look like little porkers. So, taking that into consideration, my hat's off to you, Stella! (Now about those pesky wrinkles....)

Satin is very unforgiving. It usually looks better in person but when photographed--especially at night under flash bulbs--it can make anyone look lumpy and hideous.

If Ms. Dawson hadn't slept in her gown the night before she may have pulled it off with the right accessories but she looks terribly unkempt & poorly accessorized.

Ms. Watts is elegant in this gown. She knows the gown color is right for her, how to sit in an evening gown & is appropriately accessorized.

Rosario is too short waisted for the belt and the dress would look like a sack without it so the dress just doesn't work for her body type.

its silly looking its so over for one shoulder and the bow makes the women look like they are a present. bad dress all around. colors are nice.

this looks to be an inappropriate comparison. The wrinkle from sitting creases in the photo of Rosario are more pronounced than that of Naomi, making the frock look more attractive in the shot of Naomi. Poor choice of material or poor design that makes those creases so obvious
