Suit Supply's 'Shameless' Campaign Causes Stir With Scantily-Clad Women (PHOTOS, POLL)

First Posted: 11/01/10 05:39 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:10 PM ET

Dutch Label Suit Supply has caused quite a stir with its new, "Shameless" ad campaign. The graphic and totally NSFW pics depict women with their skirts up or shirts pulled down while the male models show off the brand's latest offerings.

According to Jezebel, "Suit Supply says it had to remove its Shameless pixxx from its Facebook page because they were 'deemed offensive.' What sadness!" We're sure all 69 (seriously) of Suit Supply's friends will be upset. But don't worry -- the ads are still up on Suit Supply's website.

Check out some of the ads below (the more NSFW ones can be viewed here) and tell us what you think.

Quick Poll

Suit Supply's ads:

Sexy! And sex sells.

Sexist! And totally unacceptable.

I don't know.

How is a woman doing what she wants to do and accepted to do a sexist thing? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of men and women being equal? If you're a man you can be as sexual or provocative as you want, but if a woman is then it's sexist? Women make their own choices, this is a professional model who's perfectly fine with the sensuality of the shoot. If she was un-zipping his pants, would that be sexist against men??? Sometimes (just sometimes) the feminist contradict everything they stand for. Equality, individuality, self choice.

We consistently see women objectified. Again. And again. It's old.

I would like to see the tables turn.

So there is nothing wrong with objectification? You just want it done to members of a group to which you do not belong?

Then there is no moral judgement implied. Just tribal animosity.

Gotcha.

Suit Supply had to do something to distract the eye from their hideous suits! Is there a Herb Tarlick line?

They would be sexist and sending the wrong message, if it were a random guy doing that in public to a random lady. But this photoshoot appears to be of some twisted, kinky pair of couples in their own home. I'm not down with group sex, but if that's the message this company wants to send about their suits, then so be it.

Why were only scantily clad women stirred up about this?

I'm curious how is this demeaning to woman? I saw ALL the pictures, and some of them the women are topless, in another picture, the woman is on a kitchen counter with the guy behind her. Both of them are stunningly gorgeous.

All the pictures are sexy tastefully done, and oh so hot...

These are models and they get paid to do this, they have the body to show off, so how is it demeaning?

As a woman I always said if you are confident, and have what to show off, more power to you. Why hide because someone who is envious is trying to shame you?

You think it's envy?

Little girls are taught from an early age where their place is in the patriarchy. For once I'd like to see a bunch of males in a compromising position and be completely objectified as mere sex objects. Again. And again. And again. All the time. Every day. For every thing.

Reminds me of a (recent) David and Posh Beckham ad. Sizzling... (See that man in his underwear? Whew!) She didn't do too badly for herself with him!

Funny stuff. I think some people might be taking things a bit too seriously.
