Nothing anyone writes or reports will take away the glow of the Giants winning it all.

Six people arrested after a World Series win?
This wasn't too out of control.

I was at Civic Center right after the Giants won. I saw some folks lowering the Texas flag from one of the flag poles and stomping on it.

How ignorant is that. Try it in Texas and see what happens...

That didn't look anything like a riot.

Fisticuffs between a few people does not a riot make, no matter how many people are around when they do it.

Hey for all you people who like to bash yankee fans for being rude, violent, and trashy... Need i remind you what happened after we won the world series? over a million people celebrated the team and the city respectfully.. (but perhaps it is because we live in NYC, a far superior city.)

This so called "riot" is the biggest exaggeration in the history of sports reporting. A 10-minute thug-fest in the Mission is now declared to be SF Fans Riot in the Streets.
The FACT is that 99% of San Francisco was exuberant and quite peaceful Monday night.
Six people were arrested in the Mission during this "riot". That's half the take on a normal night.
Ridiculous story - and untrue.

Tase these thugs, and if they get out of control, do a Rodney King on them all.

Not too many Michelin-starred restaurants have "serving lines," so I am with Randy on this one.

No violence on the fans part.

No. Not unless you count throwing things at the cops violence. That's legal, right?
