The 'Rent Is Too Damn High' Music Video Released! (VIDEO)

"Ain't nothin' else to talk about," indeed. Jimmy McMillan first entered the national spotlight during a New York gubernatorial debate, bellowing that "the rent is too damn high" as his prime election platform. Since then, the former candidate (running, fittingly, on the Rent Is 2 Damn High Party) has been endlessly parodied, auto-tuned, and mashed-up.

But yesterday, McMillan released an album, again with the theme of pricey rent costs (of course). He also concurrently released his first-ever music video, about... you guessed it. The video certainly reflects McMillan's unique style, and it takes quite a literal approach to demonstrating the horrors of high rent.

Shoot, I just read on the New York Daily News site that he only got 39,856 votes, but he needed 50k to get on the ballot next time without paying the fee.
