Gallup puts the number between 9.7 and 9.9 percent, which seems like a fairly safe range. Reuters reports that the consensus is that the U.S. economy will add jobs for the first time in since May -- thanks to a decline in Census layoffs -- and projects that unemployment rate will hold firm at 9.6 percent.
