A Culinary Wishlist: Chicago Needs More Chinese Food, Pizza By The Slice

Chicago is, without a doubt, one of the best food cities in the world. We own Italian beef, hot dogs, and deep-dish and thin-crust pizza. Tourists and magazine editors alike rave about our top-notch chefs, high-end and low-end fare, and preponderance of Mexican and Thai food. But try and get a decent slice of NYC--style pizza or a nice, hot doughnut, and the options are few and far between.
