Edison Pena, Chilean Miner, Sings Elvis On Letterman (VIDEO)

Edison Pena, one of the 33 miners rescued from a collapsed Chilean mine, went on "The Late Show" with David Letterman Thursday night.

Letterman asked Pena what it was like to be a miner.

"The first time I went into a mine, I wanted to turn around and get out," Pena said through a translator. "That wasn't really an option."

Letterman informed him, "a lot of people feel the same way about appearing on this show."

Pena spoke about the difficulties of using the bathroom while trapped, running the New York City Marathon, and even does an Elvis impression.

I was so touched and am glad I recorded the interview. He seems so down to earth. And what a fighter. He finished the New York Marathon (his first) with ice packs on his knees. He is a true hero. I wish him and his family all the best. What a class act.
