Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman & Kelly Ripa Launch 'The World Of Gloria Vanderbilt' (PHOTOS, POLL)

A handful of famous faces swung by Ralph Lauren Women's Boutique on Thursday night for the launch of "The World Of Gloria Vanderbilt" book, including the heiress herself. While Uma Thurman, Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker stuck to black, Camilla Belle made a style leap in a white blouse and brown, fringed skirt.

kelly ripa is my favorite here...she looks so elegant and adorable. sjp is always impeccable, love the long black coat over the dress. not a huge fan of uma's outfit, but she's beautiful anyway so it hardly matters. and camilla belle fails...should've stuck with black.

Goria at 86 has had waaaay to much plastic surgery, and looks like a caracature of herself. What's wrong with growing old gracefully instead of looking like a zombie? Look at the article about Debo’ – the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, in Saturday's NY Times. She looks fabulous at 90 - yeah she has wrinkles, but she's still got character that all that surgery takes away.

I was in an elevator with her a few years ago and was shocked at how beautiul (and tall) she was. She wasn't wearing her signature cartoon smile, just relaxed and elegant.

Love the mother and son support ... As a mom of two young men.

Like Ralph Lauren her clothing designs makes any woman look and feel beautiful. A million years ago, I purchased a pair of Vanderbilt's jeans at Saks ... the only pair of jeans I've ever owned.

I once dreamt that Sarah Jessica Parker's enormous forehead flew through my bedroom window and crushed my legs. It was like a huge slab of greased, poisoned marble that left stinking makeup all over my pajamas while it smashed every part of me below the waist into blood pudding.

Is Anderson Cooper really that much prettier than all the others, or is it just that he still has some vague semblance of a character?

Hello people?? Gloria is 86 years old. Really. She is grace and poise personified. She has her flaws and has written about them. She is a wonderful writer and truly a real human. Love her.
