The Pres and family have visited US parks, Yellowstone for sure. They also had a few days in Pensacola this summer, to try to encourage people to visit in light of the oil spill drama.

I have visited Mumbai several times, although not since the Taj Mahal Palace reopened.

If he is trying to win hearts and minds, something Shrub never did, staying at the Taj Mahal was one way to do it. In India, its role in the 26/11 attacks is similar to what we feel about the World Trade Center or the Pentagon's role.

I expected to see a picture of Obama in front of the synagogue about 400m away from the Taj Mahal that was also attacked in 26/11.

Unfortunately, HufPo did not highlight the export deals he pushed or the business people he took with him to try to close more deals. Consequently, if this looked like a junket, blame the HufPo for posting this in the travel section instead of the business section or on the front page.

presidents aren't kings. none of them should be allowed to use as much money as they want to satisfy their desires. that is especially true when so many are watching their lives being destroyed. it isn't their money.
how many state dinners have you been invited to? how many international vacations have you taken on someone elses dime?

this applies to all elected officials. they are supposed to work for us. how many employees get to tell their boses what to do?
