Late in the second quarter of Indianapolis' game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Peyton Manning tried to connect with receiver Austin Collie on a deep pass in the middle of the field.

Collie reeled it in, but dropped the ball after getting hit by Philadelphia Eagles safety Quintin Mikell. Collie was then hit in the head by Philadelphia defensive back Kurt Coleman, causing him to lay motionless on the field.

The second-year receiver was carted off the field on a stretcher and reportedly suffered a concussion, but is expected to be okay.

Indianapolis head coach said after the game that Collie was "unconscious for a period of time," but he thinks he will "recover quickly."

The Eagles received a flag for unnecessary roughness on a defenseless receiver. However, two Colts players told ESPN that they thought the hit was clean.
