Emma Watson Topless Photo Scandalizes Brown

Emma Watson is trying to keep her cool about an allegedly topless photo of her circulating the campus of Brown University, where she is a sophomore.

The Daily Mail reports:

The 20-year-old actress -- Hermione in the film series -- is said to be appalled that the snap, apparently of her with a towel around her waist standing by a hot tub, has been emailed between students at the prestigious Brown University.

'Emma is trying to seek out the source so she can put a stop to it,' says a friend. 'She says the picture has been faked.'

Emma's spokesman said: 'There have been a number of nude fakes over the past two months. Emma has seen them and finds them tiresome. People should know better.'

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Watson praised her Brown classmates for their "protective" nature. "Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me," she said. "They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I'm part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn't even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I'd found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged."

Well, this making fakes of Emma is completely boorish and criminal. I hope who is doing this is caught and prosecuted. This young woman made a few popular movies. Her private life is her own. As far as I know she is not seeking attention outside of promoting her films.

So whoever is doing this, it is not funny and only makes you seem the fool and the creep.
Please stop, she isn't one of those idols in California. Let her enjoy her college days like any other young woman or young man.

Shes exactly like those idols in California. Celeb and non-celeb people who stand in front of a camera, nude or semi-nude and they only know the person that owns the camera for less than a few hours doesn't deserve pity when those photos make their way into the public eye.
Also who goes to the media and announces that not one person took a photo of her for her birthday - thats like daring some student to sell a photo of her to the media.
Look Emma is no doubt a hippie based on what shes studying at least, they are all about "love, live and let live" blah blah blah in the Hari Krishna society i.e the philosophhy clsss.
One day she just got a little "too happy" and these photos are the result. Vanessa Hudgens 2.0, nothing more, nothing less.

Please - shes gone the same way Disney dummies like Vanessa Hudgens did - which was give some loser photos of herself while still making kiddie fanbase films.
Really when will these teen actresses learn - if a guy you barely know is pointing a camera/and or phone at you while you are naked or semi-naked, chaances are before long your publicist will have to make a "statement" to "explain".
Zooey Deschanel is the Audrey Hepburn of our era - she doesn't do dumb things like pose for "fake" photos

That pic is almost a year old. Pretty good fake but the original with someone else's face has been found as well.

Also, she is far too SMART to allow herself to be put in that position.

Shes studying philosophy - that hardly makes her a genius.
Philosophy like religious studies was invented 1000 or so years ago to explain natural phenomenon like floods and disease by using abstract concepts. Eventually it was discovered that bacteria causes disease and high pressure systems are responsible for climate changes.
But subjects like philosophy and religious studies presisted as a way to fleece innocent first years. There is no way to be wrong about subjects like that. Religious studies one reada a religious book and uses passages out of the book as justification for whatever one's viewpoint is. Philosophy one uses abstract concepts to justify whatever one's viewpoint is and can justify anything consequently.
Subjects like law require reasoning and intelligence. Subjects like philosophy reuire a lot of pot and a Hari Krishna or two lifestyle.
So I think she could be capable of this lapse in judgement or as they'd say in philosophy class - the metaphysical being just didn't align with the physical at that precise moment.
