I'm confused. I just read the article below this one that has 5600+ comments that saying Rand Paul is FOR earmarks and is a hypocrite for doing so. Why is he now against earmarks and, as of today 11-15, successful in convincing the GOP leader in BANNING earmarks?

I foresee that the baggers will "put on" a good fight but in the end earmarks will remain and baggers will plead that they did all the could. The grass roots baggers will be disappointed but be very understanding.............because it is all political theater.
